The Influence of Work Discipline and Organizational Culture on the Performance of Bank Indonesia Medan Employees

Abstract

Every company wants to achieve their respective goals, namely achieving maximum performance. This can be realized with the support of its employees. If employee performance increases, the company will also increase. Vice versa, if the employee's performance decreases, the company's performance will also decrease. Bank Indonesia is the central bank, while the problems that often occur are employee discipline and culture that is not applied. The method used in this research is a quantitative approach with the type of quantitative descriptive research with the nature of this research is explanatory descriptive. The data collection method used is through questionnaires and interviews. The analytical method used in this study were all 101 employees of Bank Indonesia Medan, which were used as research samples and 30 others were taken from the Pancur Batu bank Danamon unit. The results of the research on the hypothesis indicate that work discipline and organizational culture simultaneously affect employee performance with a value of Fcount (29.819) > Ftable (3.09). The results of this study indicate that work discipline has a positive and partially significant effect on employee performance with a value of tcount (4.937) > ttable (1.98447) and organizational culture has a positive and partially significant effect on employee performance with a value of tcount (4.790) > ttable ( 1,98447). The conclusion of this study is that Work Discipline and Organizational Culture simultaneously and partially have a positive and significant effect on the performance of Bank Indonesia employees.
